Randy’s career in construction spans well over two decades and nearly 1000 homes, with experience in every aspect of the home-building process. His career in the industry began as a professional cabinet maker – an interest he still enjoys today. In the mid-1990’s, Randy stepped into new home sales, and coordinated sales and construction across central and northern Alberta. In 2009 Randy took his experience and launched Celebration Homes, with a plan to build homes with less stress, less hassle, and less headache for our clients. Since launching the brand, Randy and the Celebration team have won multiple awards, including the prestigious New Home Buyer’s Choice Award in 2013.
Today, Randy is the leading force behind Celebration’s design team. Our custom homes are designed by Randy himself, beginning with a rough sketch on paper, and later moving on to more detailed, 3D modelling. Randy takes time to learn each clients’ individual needs, hobbies, and interests – the smallest details can have a huge impact on designing a home uniquely suited to each individual family.

We have a long term approach to customer service. Our clients are clients for life and we look after them.
Twenty years ago as a service manager for an Edmonton firm, Randy Ettinger made a mistake and ordered a countertop in the wrong colour for a customer. While not a terrible mistake as mistakes go, it was made more complex by the customer’s location which was about 700 miles away. The client needed the new top to finish their kitchen and get on with life in their new home.
Shipping the counter was not the best option because there were no installers available along the Alaska Highway where the client’s home was located. Randy decided to take the new top up himself and install it, that day. Hopping in his truck and driving north that day, the story exemplifies the way Randy does business and its the reason why about 1/3 to 1/2 of Celebration Homes sales come by way of referral.
